"Just Wow! We had an amazing stay at Elephant Friends Resort. Our bungalow was right in the river. Very comfortable beds. Everything you need! The staff was amazing and restaurant food excellent. We did the bamboo river rafting which we loved!!! Then the morning of our departure the elephants came for breakfast. Just a magical experience. I highly recommend this resort. And the elephants are well cared for ❤️"

"We were pleasantly surprised! The cabins were really cute, windows all around to see the rice paddies. We took a dip in the pool too which was great. Each cabin seems to be facing the centre of the properties with a noce view. Its so quiet and lots of nature sounds in the evening. Surprisingly no mosquitos! It seemed we were the only guests on a 30 cabin property! The property has a restaurant but it seems you have to find the staff and tell them when youll want to eat and they will be there to...

"The hotel was very spacious, close to the resort cafe and reception and within walking distance to the riverbed and sanctuary. It had good amenities with a large outdoor shower with shower gel/ shampoo and toilet paper. In the bed room there was bottled water and kettle for teas or coffees, homemade mosquito repellent and soap bar, there was also a hair dryer and a mosquito net which was an extra bonus. "Nice peaceful grounds to walk around for a prayer retreat for us. But for most if not a golfer there would not be much to do. Golf fees were quite high for us--so we didn't golf. Swimming pool small. Rooms were good but bed quite hard--we heard later we could request some duvets to make it better. Hotel is just 20 minutes from Doi Inthanon park. Staff drive you to your room in golf carts."

"It is nice to have your own little cabin. My cabin was a bit old and dated but worked fine for me. Nice quiet location back away from the road. Only negative was bathroom smelled pretty terrible but with door shut couldn’t smell in room. "

"Beautiful property to stay at. The grounds are very well maintained. Beautiful pool (unheated but nice and cool on a hot day!). Wonderful coffee shop. Very nice restaurant (I used for breakfasts). The architecture of the newer buildings (restaurant, coffee shop, tea house) is really nice and modern and fits wonderfully in with the rustic feel and look of the old tobacco barns. "Nice and comfortable, the bedroom was in great condition and balcony was really nice. Air con was also working, although we didn’t need it for our stay. We did notice a spot of old blood on the duvet but it seemed like a stain, and was otherwise definitely clean. They also provided a kettle and coffee for the morning, and assisted us with a late check in."

"Arrived late on a Tuesday and things were dark and office unmanned but soon sorted by the manager. We awoke to find the darkness was hiding a hidden delight literally 400m from the bustling 108 road. A lovely tranquil setting, comfortable suites, extremely friendly staff with wonderful food make this a lovely place to come outside the hurly burly of downtown Chiang Mai. Airport about 45 minutes drive away. Great for all the attractions in the south like Mae Weng, Doi Inthanon and others."
