"As Michigan travellers, we have stayed in many hotels and motels. This was the best in a long time (very clean and loved the bed). It was a last minute trip for New Year's Eve and I was able to book a room in the evening that was immediately available for us settle into with 24-hour check-in. The remote keyless entry was wonderful, along with the included amenity room, which had extra towels, cups, plates, condiments, coffee/tea, pet supplies, and indoor/outdoor games. "Our stay at this lovely riverside home was wonderful!We were impressed with access to an empty garage for parking as it was January in Northern Lower Michigan. The home more than met our needs. It was my husband and I and our adult daughter. Having 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and two family rooms was so nice! The setting beside the river was beautiful! "Contacted the property ahead of arriving because of a confusing email I received. They were able to confirm our reservation and checked us in over the phone, which allowed us to continue our sightseeing and not have to worry about it. The bathroom was small but the water was hot. One downside is that since it's on a main road there was lots of traffic noise in the morning. "

"Well, we went to the area to do some skiing, other nature did not cooperate so instead we got to explore. This home is in the perfect spot to check out all that Northwest Michigan has to offer. It was nice after a long day of hikes to soak in the hot tub. The communication from the owner could not have been better!"
