The hosts are extremely helpful, and offer transportation to/from ski rentals, slopes, restaurants, and hot spring/onsen for bathing. The host gave us recommendations for dining and we felt like we were at a 5-star resort with no worries. Very cozey stay for those seeking and enjoyable adventure to Zao Onsen. I definitely recommend."

"The place was beautiful, the pictures just don't even seem like the right place. The rooms were next to a stream and walking in you feel like you're going back in time, walking over covered bridges and rustic tatami-matted floors. The grounds were just as charming and the onsens were our favorite in Japan (and we like going to onsens all over Japan).
