"The property was beautiful, the building was older but remodeled with new features like toilets, sinks, showers, etc but it kept the feel of an beautiful older building. It was decorated in wonderful taste and the gardens and area around it are outstanding. They are just beautiful to walk around."

"hotel room was clean and adequate, the bed was very comfortable although did not like the bolster pillow. The hotel outside was non descript, down a side road off the main road, and in what a appeared to be a run down part of the town. There were no nice restaurants nearby, we walked about a quarter of a mile towards the city centre, so ended up at the bar connected to the hotel at the top of the road. The food was a fast food menu, not very inspiring, but we were desperate."

"We stayed here before starting our hike on the Camino de Santiago and it was right on the route, which is great as it minimized walking besides the hiking we were doing. It had a restaurant there, with others nearby. The accommodation was typical of the places we stayed during our hike. The staff was very helpful and friendly, which was nice since we arrived tired from an overnight flight and a train trip. It wasn't luxurious, but was a decent place to stay right in the old part of Sarria."

Everything was very thoughtfully done to a very high standard from gorgeous antique furniture, decor to monogrammed towels and really nice toiletries. We loved it but just had one problem which probably was particular to our room on the ground floor. The outside stone wall was very damp. You could see the damp marks along the bottom of the wall and under the window. The room had a damp smell and...
