The stairs down to the basement were really steep and my heart sank briefly that we should have thought to pack a baby gate (because we have a 10-month-old who is crawling and loves to move), but then I noticed there was a semi-permanent one installed there by the owner. Tons of small, personal touches - they thought of everything."
