Advertise breakfast, nothing but coffee and watered down juice. Will follow up next time. Pet friendly but charge $20. For emotional support animal. Advertise needs to be honest with people, all motels are lieing to people.

This place was what I expected for being cheap. But many things just weren’t to standard. At this point just gut the whole place and invest into making it better. The vending machines are awful. Bathrooms with no fan and a previous guests roll of toilet paper. Old fashioned non slip strips in a tub are disgusting. Tv was small and poorly mounted. The nightstand lamps have plug ins that are far to loose and are likely a hazard. The bed is a big metal box? The headboard slams the wall. All of the doors in the entire building slam hard and are extremely loud. That’s all I heard all night long. This location is such a hot spot for tourism now for a lot of reasons. This hotel needs to be redone and invested in.

We made our reservations through Expedia November of 2023 and were very clear of our destination being the Motorcycle rally in Sturgis, South Dakota. We attempted multiple times the week before our stay (Aug 2 through Aug 5) to contact Travel Lodge to verify our stay with no success of contacting a live agent. Thus at our arrival we find that our reservation was made to Sturgis, Michigan not Sturgis, South Dakota. The management at Sturgis, Michigan refused later to give us a full refund and kept approximately one hundred dollars. Because of this, we will never make reservations through Expedia or Travel Lodge. Very disappointed. The trip caused me to lose over $500 dollars on gas and food not including having no were to stay, we returned directly home. Twenty hours travel time.

The whole place felt like it was unkept. Not really dirty but it needs an update of all the fixtures in the room, hallways. It needs to have a finished look not what we had. Curtains were dirty or stained from wear and tear. The bed was ????? Just a mattress on a metal frame. Not my idea of comfort. At least we didn't have any bugs.

My room was clean, the bed sheets were crisp and fresh. The room did have a musty odor when I first walked in, that made me apprehensive of the room but after checking everything out it was clean, just didn’t smell that way at first impression

Staff was friendly my phone didn’t work in my room. When I book my stay, they said breakfast was included and there was no breakfast at all. Television remote was temperamental. But it seems to be clean and the beds were comfortable

Very sweet family owned. Our room was clean although dated. We had a jacuzzi in our room and loved it! Overall its worth what you pay and very close to everything.

The property is a little dated. The bed was “springy”, and there was a metal bed frame that we would kick every time we got near the bed, and it makes a loud “gong” sound. There were hairs all over the bathroom & tub. The lock from the parking lot door to the back of the building did not work, so anyone could walk in without a key. The ottomon was so stained that it should have been thrown away. The framed art had what looked like dried blood drops hanging from the bottom of the frame. No continental breakfast- only coffee and juice. There are fast food places near by, so it wasn’t a huge inconvenience. And, we figured if they can’t keep the rooms clean, it’s better that they don’t serve food. The staff seemed very friendly upon check-in, although he was so very quiet behind the glass/plexi-glass that we were unable to hear his words, but he was definitely smiling.
