"Only one elevator was in service. The stairwell was not fireproof in the event of a fire. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the location and access to all the highlights by foot. "

"Very basic accommodations. The trade off is the cheap price and excellent location for shopping, cafes, restaurants, and Selina next door. It was nice that they included towels (many hostels charge a rental fee), but they were threadbare. The kitchen has no stove, only a microwave. And no luggage storage when you checkout (have to pay 2,50 per bag at their partner storage site next door). The hostel felt dark and damp. "A lovely place to stay if you have a large room. Very efficient, polite staff at reception, helpful and warm. Nice building, amazing bathroom amenities and a well preserved continental breakfast. Also the fruit and pastries offered in the lobby a very nice touch. About five minutes walk from the metro station, about 20 mins walk to the main sites and a supermarket a couple of minutes away."

"Great location near Sao Bento train station and other nearby attractions within walking distance. Note that there's about 27 steps up to check-in with a lift for handicap only and then a regular lift, albeit small, for floors above that. Porto is built on steep hills, so it requires some energy, with funiculars, etc. to make it easier in some places. Nevertheless, it's definitely a more than worthwhile place to visit for a few days, with side day trips to Guiermaes and/or Braga also...

"Very good stay. Nice room / bathroom. Pleasant staff. Great location - 15 minutes to airport, 12 minutes to City Centre ( Metro station 4 / 5 minutes walk ) Very large shopping centre two minutes walk with lots of good eating options Only had breakfast twice in a five day stay. Didn’t think it was worth the price ( €12.50 )"
