"The location was good and the Japanese style room was large, futons were comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were elaborate - lots of small Japanese dishes, everything delicious. "

"I felt like I was in a cabin and had a porch to sit outside and drink coffee in the morning. There is a bus stop close by. I did walk to Anbo, it was about 35 minutes. The gentleman who owned the property was very accommodating and spoke English. I liked the wood beams and chandelier. "

"I had a great stay at Minshuku Manten! The place is nice, quiet, & clean. They serve a lovely breakfast & the host is extremely nice. In regards to convenience, it’s 5 mins to the bus stop. But nothing is super convenient in Yakushima if you don’t have a car. Would recommend this place ☺️ "
