"Good room basic "

"The room smelled a little of cigarette smoke, which may have drifted in from the open window before we’d arrived quite late, or had come from a previous visitor. There was a used plaster on the floor - cleaning not great. The bed is very comfortable but, as always in B&B, just one thin pillow each. "

I think it might have to do with some plumbing reconfiguration, but we had to be extremely mindful to not slip or fall down the stairs as the toilet was right on the edge. Location was great with lots of good hotels. "
