"The hotel is located within reasonable walking distance from the train station. The hotel room was a single double bed for two which was cramped, but it was just for sleeping so it’s doable. There was no open floor area to open a full size suitcase without having to close it every time you need to exit it use the restroom, typical of Japanese hotels. Still a good value for the reasonable prices."

"Hosts are gracious and kind. We were picked up at the train station and taken to the monkey park right away. Driver met us to return us to the inn and took us to train station the next day. Inn is very old and needs some maintenance but it is clean and historically beautiful. Very reasonably priced and conveniently located for a walk to dinner. We stayed in July and we had A/C in the room but the open air was nice in the morning and evening. "

"Had a terrific relaxing couple nights. The best beds we've yet had to sleep on. Bedding was super comfortable as well. The included breakfast was great. Western style. Lake around the property is nice to walk, has several good food options. The 7-11 is an easy 10 min walk to get drinks and snacks. And the fellow at the resort gave us a quick lift to the train station for the next leg of our journey. Really enjoyed our stay. "

"We had a wonderful Christmas Vacation!!! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed. They were extremely accommodating and even allowed us to check in early after unexpected circumstances. "Spent a winter wonderland of a week at Mont Cervin and can't recommend it highly enough. 15min walk from town but you never have to do the uphill yourself because the wonderful owners will shuttle you to and from the ski fields. At night they'll shuttle you up to the main strip for dinner and it's an easy walk back! I recommend adding on the brekky option, saves a lot of hassle and is delicious every morning.
