"No communication on where to go for check in. Even phoned ahead, they didn't tell me the reception was in a different building or where to go to pick up the keys. No tea towel to dry pots, only 3 plates but was apartment for four Couldn't get access to ski locker... Looked too small for the building"

"The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The room was filthy from the start. No one came to clean our room during our stay so we had to go and request new towels and buy toilet roll. The mattress had a mysterious looking pee stain which was quickly uncovered as our bed sheet on our double bed was actually two single sheets placed horizontally (which is very uncomfortable and moves during the night). The duvet covers also had some mysterious stains on them, and the whole place smelt...

"Perfect location right opposite the main ski lift and next door to a ski hire shop. Breakfast is good and there is a generous sized guest lounge on the top floor and ski store in the basement. The staff are friendly and helpful. We booked the last and cheapest room on the first floor , it was just above a bar which played music until 11.30 every night - fortunately we liked their playlist. "

"They say free parking, but then they charge you for parking. They say free internet, but there is no internet. They charge you extra fees when you arrive and when you leave. Don't stay there."

"I don’t think the property is used to having guests for short stays. It was a great spot for me to get in some amazing hikes and I loved having a kitchen to cook. The pillows were terrible- wish I had the luxury of bringing my own!"

"Hotel Arolla is about a 5 minute walk from the funicular and rail station, and a minute from the old town. I cannot praise the owners enough for the kindness, hospitality and generosity they showed us when we stayed with them just as France went into 'containment' for the covid19 virus. "It was a lovely stay however only for a night. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious. The location is close to Valgrisenche ski and if it snows the entire environment is very charming. I d like to book again this place in the future. "
