"Extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist. The photos of the hotel do not describe the property correctly. While you can see the hotel building on the photos, our room was in some low rise (1 floor) building which you enter from the outside. The bathroom was renovated except for the floor tiles which have seen better days (the same tiles were in the room as well). The room had such a strong chemical smell that was there to probably mask some other smell, which unfortunately was still coming...

"I wish I would have had a better review before I decided on this hotel. Lots of issues with this hotel. Check in is not until 5PM. This alone was enough not to stay there. After a 7 hour flight and 3 hour drive we wanted to freshen up a bit but no possibility. Not even anyone at all at the hotel. No one at front desk, in fact no front desk. "Please note the town shuts down at 8 PM. They close the hotel and do NOT wait for you to check in. Fortunately a much nicer hotel was down by the actual beach and accommodated us. It worked out bc it was a far superior hotel and not much more money compared to the new Windsor. Stay somewhere else but def visit Etretat. "
