"Unique property in downtown Stratford with views of the Avon river. Exposed brick wall lends character to the room, decor is in keeping with the older nature of the building. Bed was really comfortable, but pillows were a little hard. Bathroom was spotless, but hate the suicide shower! Just steps from restaurants and shops, a real character property. Check-in was easy, with no front desk, just door codes. Great place. Would definitely stay again."

"I stayed at Guest House On The Mount last minute for one night. I grew up in London so knew some of the history of the buildings. If you like history and going for walks this property is the place for you."

"STAY AWAY…EXTREMELY DIRTY AND UNPROFESSIONAL . Pungent smoke smell in room even though it was a “non smoking room”, ceiling fan was about to fall out the ceiling and didn’t work so I couldn’t circulate air. Bed sheets and towels were stained and even the replacements requested were dirty. When I spoke to the front desk staff about this, they shrugged their shoulders and said “I don’t know”. No refund or discount given. I would have had a better experience sleeping in my freezing car."

"This is the fourth time I’ve stayed here. The last two have been drastic improvements. The refurbishments are obvious. The character of the bldg is somewhat respected. The staff are kind. The room is fresh. And the complimentary treats were a pleasant surprise. Love being downtown. Thank you. Will be back again. "
