Hotel is trying to be trendy but is low quality. Staff at front desk was very nice. Checkin was done on phone while standing in front of a staff. Parking is far from hotel. No amenities. No room service. Shower and floor was old. Bed and linens not hotel quality. Neighborhood is bad. No deadbolt or chain on door.looked like it could have been a fancy dorm room. You can’t put a chandelier and paint the walls purple and present as a boutique hotel.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Hotel Metro, very different experience than we've had at other hotels, especially with the closeness to shopping and food options we had downtown (majority of our activities were all within walking distance). Really liked the layout with the separate tub and shower in the room. Everything was comfortable and felt very safe and secure. Even the aromatherapy in the hallways was a nice touch. Rooms were quiet, too, sometimes we could hear people in the hallway, but nothing during evening hours or that would wake us up too early, so never bothered us. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Certainly recommended for a future visit to London, Ontario!

I was shocked that the shower and tub were in the main bedroom. Since this was a first overnight for us I would liked to have known that prior to checking in. Turned out not to be an issue after all but was an unwelcome surprise upon arrival.

We decided on the Hotel Metro because of its proximity to the concert venue at Canada Life Place (John Labatt Centre/Budweiser Gardens) and we're more than happy with our choice. At check in we were greeted by the friendly staff, arriving right at 3pm our room was ready for us upon arrival. The keyless entry option was new and beyond now having a new PIN code that I can not forget (used in on my iPhone by accident already once) our check in was timely and easy. Arriving in the room, we were greeted by a large and welcoming bed, a bathtub deep enough that it should be reclassified as a personal pool and a TV that was super crisp and clear with Roku set up and ready to go! The only issues with the room were a squeaky fan from the AC unit and some issues with the Dundas Street door. Checkout this morning was equally easy. We will definitely be back!

Clean, quiet, spacious rooms. We had 3 adults in a 2 double bed room with an extra rool away bed, and had lots of room to move around eachother. Courtyard view is not impressive. Small and looks into other room that are close by. Would benefit from frosted windows for privacy but allowing daylight through. No access to courtyard. No restaurant on site but many in the area. Market accross from lobby entrance is great. Lots of restaurant choices within walking distance. Beautiful reclaimed brick wall as feature in our room. Nice decore. Cleane but very dusty on chandelier and light fixtures etc. Enjoyed our experience.
