"The staff was immediately friendly and kind. They helped us upgrade our room, leave our bags before check-in, and gave us a tour of the guesthouse. The kitchen was clean and big. The room was beautiful and comfortable. There is no soap or shampoo but it was okay as we brought our own. "

"This is located at prime location, right next to the cp.pt Coimbra-A train station. This is so great! The property has been run by a team/family very proud of their job. Think about the whole street front facing building you own! Staff is super friendly snd helpful. The property is old and updated to modern. I did not check for Wi-Fi. "7 minute walk from the train station, sort of midpoint between the station and the canal area, right by the shopping mall. Which makes this location walkable. Plenty of bars, cafes and eateries near by although I was there on Christmas eve and lest things were shutting down I got a takeout from the food court in the mall. Shower- nice and hot, good pressure. Noise- given my room faced the main street the insulation was surprisingly good. I did hear some street noise but mostly sound proof...

"A lovely museum house and very welcoming environment. Lily was there waiting for me and did a tour of the house of the late Artist. It was a very unique stay. Kitchen was replenished for guests to use. Thank you for a lovey experience."

"Grata sorpresa, excelente, comodo,buena cama, cobijas limpio, personal super atento, desayuno impecable, estacionamiento, a/c perfecto , agua caliente. Aspectos a verificar antes de su llegada: la recepcion tiene un horario, asegurese de dejar un email o una manera que le contacten ( lo haran son super diligentes). "The host was very welcoming and it was nice and quiet - exactly what we needed our first night in Portugal to sleep off the jet lag."

"The place is good enough for the price but, the rooms have no mosquito netting on the windows so you can't sleep with the window open. We got badly bitten in the night by mosquitos and there is no aircon as expected for the price, the room did not even have a fan. We went home a day early because we did not want another night. "
