"This place gives Best Western a run for the money. It has that empire beat in several categories especially customer service. While I was treated like street trash at BW, the realm of Extended Stay was extremely welcoming and didn't make me feel insecure whatsoever. The crowd here may appear unruly but don't judge a book by its cover. Law enforcement rolls thru once in awhile but there are so many of them in this county boredom must overwhelm them. "Gorgeous historic yet modern hotel! The location was convenient, the staff was friendly, the rooms were nicely decorated and clean, the breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay! The only thing I would change would be making the mattress slightly more plush and the pillows a little firmer. I didn't ask but maybe there were firmer pillows available. It really wasn't a big deal either way. We loved our stay at Hampton Inn Petaluma and hope to stay there again in the future!!"

"The hotel is undergoing a renovation and will be known as the Hotel Dega. There was a lot going on with the renovations but I believe it’ll be well worth it once completed. "
