"Considering the property was a Hostel, [my first] rather than a Hotel, I liked my stay very much. Only bugbear was the shower, which was only large enough to turn around in. Also next door was an Indian Resteraunt, not my most favourite smell to try to sleep with, but not Los Corchos fault. 4 stars out of 5."

"This is a no frills hostel in a very central location on the Plaza de las Flores. There are no reception staff on site but communication by WhatsApp was good. I was given the option of rooms and took the option of a ‘noisier room’ which was immediately available. This room overlooked the adjacent restaurants and was quite noisy up til closing time. "This is our second stay at this property in La Cala which is small and basic with no amenities; there is a café at street level which is very popular and useful with a varied menu for breakfast, lunch or snacks up until 4pm. However, the property is clean, staff (Daniel, Carlos & Albero) are very helpful, it is extremely well positioned, convenient and walkable to the surrounding areas or to access bus/train journeys further afield. "I have stayed in this hotel on a previous visit to Fuengirola. I decided to book it again because it is a very clean, comfortable hotel in an excellent location being only 5 minutes walk from the train and bus stations and only 2 minutes from the beach. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. The room I got on this visit, however, was not as spacious or bright as on my previous visit. There was no wardrobe, only an exposed hanging rail with just 2 hangers on it....
