"Grassy Flats resort is a beautiful, private, secluded property. We felt so relaxed here. There is not much of a “beach” area but seeing the high and low tide reveal the “grassy flats” was so cool. There are beach chairs/lounge chairs everywhere (by pools and along ocean front) so you can post up wherever you want. The pool was awesome and shady. "This is an older motel. It's obvious that they're trying to make sure that it is surface clean. I didn't expect any more than that. The ladies that were working were super super friendly. I have an allergy to mold, mildew, and dust. All were prevalent in this room. This motel has the potential to be something super special and unique if given the proper love it needs. "

Daughter and her partner had a 10 min walk to the pristine sombrero beach on the days they didn’t chill by the private pool. Large rooms meant everyone had space and the balcony was a great spot for morning coffee. The hosts kept in touch to make sure we had every we needed and checkin process could not have been easier . "Best house ever. Very friendly host and ready to please with any requests. The beds were top quality. The house is perfect for families, the kitchen is great to cook, they have games, fishing poles and is very clean. We have never seen such beautiful sunsets. Easy to get to from anywhere in the country. Marathon is a unique destination, great food, quaint and you don’t get tired of coming back every year. WE RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE."
