"Well located family run Hotel. Very friendly family. Fridge in entrance area was open to use if required as was the extremely efficient laundry service. Beds a little on the firm side but that could be down to personal preference. They were happy to take a mix of USD and LAK which was helpful. Great value breakfast and Hotel - would recommend "

"First, the good: The staff was nice and the area was very walkable Now the bad: Y not you ask? I’ll tell you y not! They did a very good job making the hostel look decent in pictures. It is not. Walls are cracked and dirty. The beds are harder than life itself. Rooms are cramped even if the room isn’t completely full. There are 3 toilets and 3 showers FOR THE ENTIRE building. Which I’m sure is about 40 people. We dont get room keys because The rooms don’t lock. The stairs to the second floor...

"We stayed for 3 nights and on our return the first night the hotel was locked . Supposed to be 24 reception. No sign of anyone. We eventually gained access via the car park. In the 3 days we stayed housekeeping never came to our room. Water never replaced, towels not changed. However the worst part of staying here is the fact that it is not where it appears on the Hotels.com map but it actually around 2km further out of the centre of the old town. I stayed in the all-female 12-bunk dorm and the bed was so spacious and comfortable - there was lots of room to put your bags at the end and multiple little shelves to put your things on. "When I booked I expected breakfast to be included it was part of the deal - but it was not provided. I rely on wifi - it was supposed to be part of the deal - there was no wifi. Free water was provided on day 1 but never replenished as promised. So I ended up paying for breakfasts, paying for water and foregoing wifi."
