I didn’t care set temp to 68 crawled into bed and went to sleep woke at 4 am as the room smelled smoky. Jumped up looked around no smoke, no smoke in room. Looked out in hall no smoke. Looked outside and it appeared someone had been burning something smelled like a camp fire of garbage. "This was our first stay at your property. We were looking for a dog friendly facility, so we appreciated that we could stay there with our little dog. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was very good. The thing that disappointed us was that when we made our reservation, we had chosen a king room on the waterfront side, but when we arrived found out the king room was on the road side. If we wanted waterfront we would need to go with the queen room. "

"We usually stay at a major chain hotel nearby. But upon a friends recommendation we gave Inn By The Sea a shot. We are sure glad we did! The room was nice, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was SO kind and welcoming. Took the time to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. They have a cute little store with snacks and even games to play with your family. "It was a crafting weekend getaway. The floors are laminate which was great for crafting. It is a block from Marsh's and close to the shops. Its a perfect location and we had the 3 bedroom suite with three queen beds. Our only complaint was the heating, there is one wall heater in the main space and none in the bedrooms. We asked for extra blankets and they were accomodating."

"Cabin 6 was perfect for a weekend getaway to do some clam digging. It was close to beach access and lots of dining options. The room was small but cozy and had what we needed. The bed is a little soft & seems my feet were more elevated than my head but we survived. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Arrived during a driving rainstorm. No water issues in the room, despite a pool of water in the parking lot. Workers were troubleshooting. WiFi went out second day of stay. Staff offered another room in area Wifi was working, but we declined. Nice of them to ask. Lovey place. There in off season. Had the run of the place to ourselves! Wonderful. Will visit again.
