"Lots of construction work happening locally. Made route into the city by walk a rough experience. Breakfast was good with a variety of foods available. TV screen was very small and carpet was dated. "

"Easy access from station a short walk away. There is major building work going on opposite until next year , althoughh being at the back did not affect me. Works outside with pavement closed and scaffolding made it very difficult for pedestrian access especailly with cases , Although this is no fault of the hotel. My only complaint is that the was an arguamnt outside our room and then a male banging on a door so hard it appeared he was trying to kick it in. I called reception from my mobile and...

"Clean and comfortable in a good location but badly needs updating and some tlc"

"Easy to find and check-in. Good location. Clean room with almost everything i needed - some welcome biscuits would have made it perfect. Good shower and plenty of towels and soaps. It was a bit noisy about 10pm when i think they were emptying the bins outside my window but it was quiet the rest of the night. "

"Highly recommend to young and experienced travelers. We got in and they showed us to our comfortable room. The bathroom and the kitchen were upstairs. It worked for me as I was able to sleep ten hours through the night. It was great to meet friendly travelers and enjoy breakfast and snacks with them. With all the cereal and bread I imagine many nomads have caught up on lost meals. "

"Was a nice friendly hostel. Slightly aged facilities but in good working order. Hot water and shower pressure was good. Individual plug points and light for each bed. Better sound proofing between rooms and walkway would be nice. But overall a good hostel."

"Lovely and polite service. Amazing breakfast. No dinner available so needs to be a walk and check opening times of the restaurants as during my visit a lot were closed! Take ear plugs as the music from the pub can be quite loud if you want an early night. Bathroom was very small but was fine for my use during my stay. "

"Wonderful, warm welcome. Room very comfortable. Few tweaks needed - drawers not easily accessible, hanging space a bit high. Wonderful shower - walk-in, such a treat as most hotels have showers inaccessible to anyone with any mobility issues. Surprisingly quiet even though on main road. Great for a couple of nights"
