"the room was nice and very clean, newly refurbished, well heated, good shower room, included a kettle and large tv and all as described so very happy and would return. but access via the metal stairs in wet weather is uncomfortable and its a bit unusual to not have any face to face contact"

Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. "Lovely place for a stay but ruined by blatant dishonesty. Owners advertise on multiple platforms that there is an indoor pool - they even have pics, but the "pool" is apparently at an indoor leisure club 4 miles away. Absolute jokers. Even when i contacted the club- i still had to pay for going swimming. Such a disappointing stay and ive lodged refund request from hotels.com"
