"The location and property were just what we were looking for. Very clean and modern and new, the housekeeping service we requested didn’t come twice so we had to keep calling to ask for more towels, and our room never got cleaned. Otherwise it was a great stay."

"In the rear of the property facing the woods. The hotel has a plethora of feeders for birds and wildlife [Squirrels, rabbits, etc]. I could view an all-black squirrel for the first time in my life! In North Texas, we have the typical brown variety. At night, the fireflies lighting up the night was awesome as well! I am glad I had an upstairs room with a full view! "

"Spent the night on our way to Interlochen. Was exactly what we needed a clean room for the night. Had a pool that looked well kept. Breakfast was included and was great - i am vegan and there was even something for me! Staff was very attentive and friendly!"

"The only problem really was I understand they were remodeling. But when we would try to open the door to get in the room that would get stuck and the bathroom the seat was too low for older people. But other than that excellent stay"

"There is a bike trail right across the road, so we walked it in to town for dinner at a bbq place on the river. People two rooms down were sitting out front and friendly, but multiple cigarettes were enough to fill our room with the smell of smoke. When we returned from dinner they had retired and the smoke was gone. We had a great night’s sleep!"
