"The guest service person was excellent! Helpful and professional! The outer exterior looked promising but as we enter the unit we were very disappointed in the furnishings. Tried to make it modern but did so with cheap materials. Bed had springs that made noise on every movement. The sheets were discolored and had holes and stains on the top cover. No shampoo or shower wash. Towels need replacing as grey and rough . Bleached to the point of fraying ! Only good part was the staff. The upgrades...

"The most comfortable bed ever!-I slept so well. I have stayed at the Rodeway Inn here about three times now and I always find it clean, comfortable, and the owners very friendly. The breakfast is nice too- not extravagant, but just what I need to get me back on the road in the morning"

"Check in was quick and easy. Lady on front desk polite and efficient. Room very comfortable and in very good order. Room has everything you need fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Very good value. Barstow has many motels but many are of poor quality. I would definately recommend Route 66 Motel and consider it to be one of the better ones on Main St. I would stay again. "

Not a five star resort by any means, but with the word Budget in the name you shouldn't expect that. For the price, it was well worth it and should I find myself in Barstow again, I would definitely consider staying here again."
