I arrived there and directly ask for money, I couldn't pay with card, asked to pay later after I withdrew money and said I couldn't, said they i couldn't pay with 100 dollar bill and managed to find money to pay then but lacking 1 dollar which I asked to pay later and they said no. "This Hostal is owned by a very welcoming family! There is a little fireplace when it's cold at night. The food there was very good! It's quite isolated but if you want peace of mind in a little village, this is the place to go! Great stay at around 1h 30 hike to Quilotoa crater. It's right next to the trail."
