"I love staying at this lodge. Its my go to accommodations when traveling to lake michigan in the winter. I love being off the beaten path, the esthetic of the lodge and the supper club/lodge. However, this stay i stood at the front desk for over 15 minutes while the front desk worker was on the phone helping somone else book a room. "We had an enjoyable stay. Our room was large we did have a small party going on next door to us and I had to call down to the lobby desk at just before 10:00 and he assured me that party was ending at 10:00 and it did. When the couple that was staying in that room returned at 2:30 a.m. they were loud and I just knocked on the wall and they quit right away they were connecting rooms. "So many times, the continental breakfast is limited, especially if you get there later. This was not the case! Excellent choices! I have stayed at another hotel locally and was very disappointed but was so pleased with everything from the time we checked in until we checked out!"

"We had a nice stay. There was water damage on the ceiling of our bathroom and the sprinkler in our room was completely rusted. Not sure if it would have worked in an emergency. Food all over floors in hallways when we checked in. It was still there the next day, even with people cleaning rooms and hallways. Pool is average. Could use a new pool liner. Comfortable beds and good location. "
