"Horrible experience. They are only looking to maximize their profits. We had a reservation but they gave our room to another person who offered to pay more . They offered us another room of where the owner usually sleeps, the room is horrible and not fitted to be rented to guest. It had personal items and not clean. and tried to charge us a ridiculous expensive price because they knew all the hotels were booked for the weekend. They will give up your reservation to any person who offered to pay...

"Once I booked the apartment after just arriving in town, I was in contact with the owner who gave explicit details about the stay. The apartment is fully equipped for use. Close to the archeological site which was unfortunately closed on a Monday despite goggle maps."

"Contacted host before arriving to Colombia for check-in instructions. Upon arrival, was not able to contact host. Contacted Vrbo; they were not able to contact host either. Vrbo offered me a hotel the next day and stated they would refund my costs. I have now arrived at my next Vrbo destination. The red carpet has been rolled out. Hopefully my first experience is an isolated incident. "
