"This was a really nice place to stay in Split and not be alone. Shared a room with 3 people. Easy to secure stuff. Clean bathroom. Close to old town, palace, riva, port. Very walkable. Taxi drop off and pick up is a couple blocks away. There are some stairs to some rooms. Coffee and breakfast was convenient. Very nice, helpful staff. Would stay again. "

Opened in 2010, this would have been an awesome building at the time. But it feels like no one has maintained it since then. A broken escalator in the middle of the hostel has clearly been out of service for a long time. All of the storage cupboards in the room were either jammed shut or without keys.
