"Basic hotel with a small (overpriced) spa in the basement. Was very clean and decent sized rooms for a couple, although the air conditioning didn’t work and the room was freezing cold as you could feel a cold breeze at feet level in the room despite the window being shut."

Lobby and stair rails could use fresh paint because first impression was a little off. The room was very clean and freshly painted, but at first was concerned. Freshening up the entry would put a truer face on what the property is. Easy walk to old town square and Prague community building is just one block away."

That said this place was a little bit rough around the edges- the cookware in the kitchenette was comically shoddy past the very basics. I mean the big knife was literally bent at the end and the skillet was rusted through. They also have a pretty loose definition of housekeeping and the bathroom had a little bit of a smell. "Location was amazing. Just down alleyway to main square where the Astronomical Clock is. Great breakfast--usual European style with meats, cheeses, yogurt/mix ins. Scrambled eggs, bacon always available. Great breads and pastries. Room comfortable, clean, and spartan. Only issues were safe didn't work, and hand-held shower was in a tub with no enclosure where you had to kneel/sit or maybe you could stand and be very careful not to spray everywhere. "Very nice location, few steps away to the astronomical clock and Charles bridge. Parking onsite is wonderful! The apartment is huge 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Comfy beds. Large living/dining area. Full kitchen with everything we need! Sofa bed in the living room is comfortable according to my niece who slept there. We were 5 in our family and there’s plenty of room for all of us!!
