"When I arrived there was no one to show me to my room. I phoned the number on my booking but they could not find any record of me having booked with the itinerary number I was given. They gave me another number to call, eventually they found the booking and said ‘the man is coming’. This turned out to be a maintenance man who was very unwell (flu I presume). He showed me a double room but the toilet was broken, a sign in the door saying do not use. I asked for an alternative room with a working...

"I'm so glad I found this gorgeous place to stay whilst on a business trip. The cabins are beautiful and the little touches just make it so wonderful. I cannot fault High Parks - the whole experience was fantastic and I will certainly be booking again. Amazing and friendly service. Also there's nothing like looking out of the window of your accommodation and seeing rabbits, pheasants, squirrels, free range chickens and a barn owl. Just gorgeous. Highly recommend a trip to High Parks."

"A fantastic warm welcome. Beautiful room with everything we needed. The care put into the room was evident in all the personal details that ensured a comfortable stay. Bed soft and linen gorgeous. Horsey paintings added to the ambience as racehorses trotted by the window! Soothing and relaxing! Breakfast was the best ever in a b n b. Hostess Sharon made us feel like friends. Our dog loved it too!"

"The cottage was well set up with lots of internal space for our trip. The bedrooms we large and along with the bathrooms they made out stay so much nicer. It was a shame the log burner sting was broken and therefore did not really work, on Host and Stay website it also said we had a washer - yet there was not. Would I stay again? No - as there was no WiFi (which for me is essential), no washing machine, a little care and attention on their log burner would make so much difference. "
