"Nothing fancy, but very clean and comfortable. Good value! This is my second stay here, and I will come back again. As the name (and price) suggests, the A-1 Budget Motel's rooms are fairly basic, and a bit small. But they've been nicely refreshed, and very clean. One nice feature: they've added plenty of electrical outlets, something that's often lacking in older facilities. I recommend A-1 Budget Motel. "

"The staff was very friendly and professional. I enjoyed the kitchenette and large refrigerator. Room 2B was very cozy and spacious and I enjoyed my stay."

"The information about the place is incomplete. I thought I booked a cabin however it was a room in the motel. The heater can't be regulated and it was either too hot or too cold in the room. The place is nice though with a beatiful lake view and lots if birds to watch. Breakfast is not included and we had to drive 20 miles to get anything to eat. Bring your own snacks. "

"older, clean, remodeled.No price raising unnecessary frills type place, all the expected basics. Comfy bed, good bedding and towels. (not frazzled out). Several fast food and sit down eating places next door or within 3 safe walking blocks. Although on a main highway street you don't hear the traffic. Easy in and out with up to a 20 foot trailer. Repeat guest, the best deal in town when your after no frills place to stay. You can spend 50 bucks more elsewhere and not sleep any better"
