This was one of the dirtiest Motel 6 stays I’ve ever experienced, but huge shoutout to Chaz at the front desk—he was super helpful and made the nightmare a bit better. We arrived at midnight on a snowy, freezing night, only to find our first room completely uncleaned—no sheets on the bed, trash everywhere. The second room had hair in the bed, a dirty toilet, and a gross fridge. By the time we got to the third room (which was barely acceptable), we’d had to move all our stuff and our cat in the snow. Miserable!
The next morning, the new receptionist told us the manager knew about our situation and was upset, but honestly, we deserved a refund. This was beyond frustrating. Thanks again to Chaz for trying his best in a bad situation!
