"I appreciated the welcome call I received from the staff, guiding me to find the hotel, which was nice and easy. I did have to wait outside a little, as the instructions on how to enter aren’t quite that easy to understand, but only a couple of minutes and I was greeted. "Nice B&B, good service, good, clean and comfortable bedroom. Very well located for Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and the Somerset Levels. Also Glastonbury nearby with Bath & Bristol all day trip visitable However, the Mendip hills are lovely so if we come again we will be walking either in the hills or down on the somerset levels. "

"The bed was extremely comfortable and was the best part of the room. The amenities were nice and the room was as depicted in the photos. The welcome was pleasant but cooled somewhat once they realised we’d booked through Hotels.com. We were told we wouldn’t get breakfast because of it. "We really enjoyed our stay at Charnwood Guest House. The spotless room had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities and hot shower. Breakfast was served fresh to order each morning. Location was a short walk along the river from the beach and restaurants. Finally a shout out to Ruth and Phil who were the most charming hosts you could hope to meet."

"We had the twin room with the bathroom across the corridor. Due to this dressing gowns were provided which were large and cosy. Very large room with space for 2 chairs and coffee table. Breakfast for £5 was amazing! Good ale. "

We had a such a lovely time - amazing property, very warm and roomy and beds in quirky places, plenty of towels and great communication from the host, especially about us hiring a spa specialist to come to the property for chilled hen do spa treatments. "We had a lovely two night couples break at Kimbers Farm. The shepherds hut is so comfortable and just the right side of luxury rustic! Possibly the comfiest bed I’ve slept in away from home. The wood fired hot tub adds a sense of fun and is easy to use. We also enjoyed cooking outside (gas hob available inside!). The shower/toilet “block” is great, well equipped and clean.
