"We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house for a friends reunion. The house is charming, comfortable, with great communal areas and cosy bedrooms. It’s well placed near a train station, and a great walk. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub which created a great atmosphere and kept us warm in winter."

We had a such a lovely time - amazing property, very warm and roomy and beds in quirky places, plenty of towels and great communication from the host, especially about us hiring a spa specialist to come to the property for chilled hen do spa treatments. We loved the hand hewn exposed wooden beams. The only downside for us was street side loud vocalizations by apparently drunken pedestrians that occasionally kept us awake at night."

"We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. We really enjoyed our cold pond dips followed by warming up in the hot tub. This was already warmed up for us on arrival and lots of wood and starters...

"The owners were friendly, and attentive, but the property I felt was too expensive for what it was, there was no shower gel or anything in the bathrooms. There wasn’t a bin bin bag to collect rubbish. There were cobwebs and number of Rooms the black leather sofa was old and worn out and not very comfortable so although the setting was nice it did look like somewhere that the owners were trying to get out of as they told us there were selling up.
