"Great spot to stay. My room was clean and tidy and the person on reception was very efficient and friendly. The only thing I missed was shampoo, which I will take with me next time I stay. All in all a good experience. (Light sleepers might want to choose a room away from the street as rubbish removal comes early in the morning)"

"Beware - this is not a private hotel with wheelchair access. There are stairs to navigate at rhe front of the property, at the front door, plus with the ground floor. The disabled bathroom is not an accessible bathroom. The water is set to over 80 degrees, the taps are three inches wide with no spindles. "Fantastic place it felt like staying with old mates. Social spaces are cleaned everyday and staff are super friendly. I ended up extending my stay because of how nice it was. "Liked friendly and welcoming staff, cleanliness, free coffee tea and bread. Comfortable bed and communal areas. Only think to be improved is that I wasnt in receipt of the code to get in when I arrived. I didnt have a sim card so couldnt phone. I went away and emailed Frank to get it and then went back. Ideally an automatic email and text giving these details, before check out time would have been good. Overall this is my favourite accommodation place in Melbourne. "

"Reasonable price and very clean. A bit loud from noise within the premises whether it was other guests or loud appliances from downstairs at all hours. Please remove the zipties holding signs on the "Slippery when wet" signs on the railing of the staircase to enter the property. I received two very large cuts to my hands caused by the jagged edges of these zipties."

I had to find accommodation elsewhere after waiting in the property foyer for over an hour. I had travelled more than 5 hours to get there to not have access to a room I had paid for.
