"Staff was mostly friendly, hotel looks like it’s undergoing some much needed updating/renovation. Our room was clean but the hall carpets were disgusting. Bed was comfortable but the fitted sheet was too small and kept popping off, and every single one of the pillows was lumpy and uncomfortable. Other than that and our loud/rowdy neighbors our stay was great. The continental breakfast was one of the best we have had. "We had a wonderful stay here. Our room was clean and comfortable. There were no phones but received text messages from the front desk making sure we needed anything else to give us a plesant stay. We asked for an extra hour of check out and it was granted. Their breakfast was filling, they had a different menu the next day. They have abundant coffee. Location is close to food places to eat and to shop. Employess were friendly "

"Yes. The inn is very old. I think that just adds to the charm. The Inn is close to all of the touristy spots like pike place and the water front. It is literally a 15 minute walk to downtown. And the best part for me was that it was also a 15 minute walk to the light rail which I use as my main transportation. The staff were very kind and professional. Not only is it a great spot for tourist. The inn at Virginia Mason is also used by a lot by people getting medical procedures or families...
