"Had a lovely 2 night stay in cosy 1 over the weekend ..Tom and Rosie were excellent hosts and very quick to reply to messages Nothing negative to say as everything was as described ..everything was clean , comfortable beds and a great space to relax , close to everything and lots to do for the kids … We definitely recommend staying here and this will be our go to place when we are in Paignton again .. Once again thank you Tom and family for being so welcoming "

"Great place to stay for a visit to Paignton and surrounding area. Very convenient with a view of the sea. I had a single, ensuite room which was great as a solo traveller, not always this option at some hotels. Gary and James were very welcoming, cleanliness was excellent and a great breakfast. "My wife and I stayed here as we were attending a wedding at Rockbeare Manor and it's only 10-15 mins away. So glad we did.. the staff are all lovely, the pub is cosy, the accommodation fab and the food is amazing. Couldn't recommend this place enough, we only wished we'd stayed longer."

"Our hosts Leigh and Vicky were very welcoming and the accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. Thoughtful touches like a borrow or swap books area and a bucket & spade library for guests to use in the summer months. Breakfast was very good and freshly prepared to our exact request. If we're down this way again, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you."

"Staff were lovely and the room had a couple of extra touches I wasn’t expecting like bottles of water. The only thing that I would say tainted the stay was that I couldn’t turn the heating off in the room and with the room being small and at the top of the building, it was so, so hot. Other than that, great."
