"Located in the centre of the town, so there's dining options like bars and yakiniku and convenience stores within walking distance. Keep in mind though it is a town that is in gradual decline and it shows when you walk around, especially down the main or high street a block back from the highway. "Surpirse tourist tax on arrival. They assumed because we were of western orgin that we would only want breads for breakfast. They offered thr rest of their guests a Japanese breakfast (which we would have loved). The website didnt state they had cats. I am very allergic so it made for an uncomfortable stay. "

"The onsen is excellent, the staff were friendly and very attentive especially the guy. My only concern was that the distance stated 1 minute walk from the station, no it is not, you have to take taxi or bus to the center"

"If you are a picky and particular person, this place is not for you. I’ll start with the great key points of this hotel: price: cheapest private room and non-shared bathroom in town! location! Across the street from 7-11, the bus terminal & ice breaking cruise, minutes walk to the waterfront and downtown area. One staff man was very nice and attentive.
