"If all you want is someplace to sleep, then this may be OK. They do not clean the room while you are. They ask you to put the trash and towels outside your room for pick-up. Place is old, with some rooms having peeling paint on walls. Room was quiet and wifi was good. "

"I really loved how friendly all staff were. My Japanese isn't great, but they were friendly during all communications. The building is very convenient. Close by a lot of things. However, there was a lit of mould in the washroom. On the toilet paper holder, around the door. The beds and living area were comfortable."

"Well worth the stay. The water pressure was amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the pod. Once checked in there is an under compartment below your pod to store any personal items and locks and you have the key till checkout. The property also offers a "goody" bag with single use items like, a brush, razor, tooth brush and toothe paste. "LiveMax hotel on Miyajima was a the perfect place for an overnight trip. Perfectly situated close to the ferry station and walkable to all the sights on the island. They rent bicycles if needed. The dinner buffet was insane (mad rush to the sushi and beef for yakitori at the table) but it was a unique experience to say the least. Delicious food provided. "The hotel was near the Itsukushima Shrine, just around 5-min walk. Although it's not near the ferry port, the hotel provided a shuttle service upon arrival and departure.
