"The upstairs deck is beautiful - really nice place to hang out at night. Daytime it is scaldingly hot out there starting about 7 AM, though. Zeida was so sweet - she's the one that makes (a really nice) breakfast in the morning. Always a smile, always pleasant, and works with you when you speak to her in broken Spanish, without judgment. I love the hot water and chilled water dispenser making it easy to stay hydrated and not buy single use bottled water. There's definitely no wi-fi - but that's...

"Excellent location and friendly staff! Fridge on common area for your own food/drinks. Next to fish market, you can see pelicans right next to hotel. Quiet during nights, so good sleep guaranteed."

"Immediately upon arriving, we were told there was no reservation under our name. After showing our printed reservation paid in full, the front desk staff appeared confused and had another employee come over. After 5-10 minutes of confusion, the hotel claimed they had overbooked themselves (despite the hotel appearing empty, with all of the rooms we could see having the door open). We were then told we would be brought to a different hotel. The hotel we were taken to was clearly lower in quality...

"Great room, helpful staff WHEN they were available. Front desk closes at 6:30. I had told them beforehand that I would arrive around 7. My boat into town was half an hour late. I got a message on Whatsapp at 6:57 that the desk would close at 7. I arrived about 7:30 and someone did come back to check me in. Then about an hour later I managed to lock myself out of my room (I know, I know). I messaged and in about 5 minutes, I got a response that they would return in about an hour and some minutes....
