"Set in a lovely peaceful / tranquil setting overlooking Loch Leven and amazing views looking up into Glen Coe. Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of car parking and a few points for EV’s. Breakfast was a buffet style with was lovely. The dinner menu was outstanding - throughly recommend the haunch of venison in a blackcurrant sauce. Room very spacious with tv, tea/coffee facilities. "

"Loads better on the inside than the out, lovely hotel, bay facing room would’ve been nicer, but great location right next to train station and ferry terminal. Breakfast great, staff friendly and helpful. Bed comfortable and bathroom very nice. "

"Other than it being insanely hot in the hotel, it was great! Clean, comfortable, quiet, big car park, can walk into town in 10 minutes. There is their pub, a MacDonalds and Chinese restaurant on the doorstep. You can easily walk to Loch Lomond, the forest/park, pubs and shops. The hotel isn't staffed and you check in inside the pub (separate building) but it was easy and the staff there were lovely."

"All was good except the tv remote. The batteries were held in with duct tape, which did nothing as you had to hold them in if you wanted the remote to work, hardly 4 star. Apart from that we both enjoyed our stay."

"Our room was very comfortable, though the view wasn’t great as it overlooked the restaurant. However, this was more than made up for by the lounge area—a quirky hidden gem! It was a nice space to relax, though it felt a bit eerie since we seemed to be the only ones using it, despite the inn being full. "Well it was a quick check in staff were very friendly helpful the room was lovely very comfortable bed was nice well worth a stay if ur staying in the area. And as well car park is free which is great as well still had to pay for breakfast."

"The main building is a beautiful old country house. The food is lovely with a very relaxing atmosphere. The Clarsach being played near the roaring wood fire was really special. Having your own island to explore is a bonus!"
