"Location is a bit far from the central station but extremely easy to reach using the local tram cars. Beds are simple, clean, and comfortable. Laundry machines are available and cheaper than at other places I've stayed. Free breakfast and dinner are a nice perk. Staff are incredibly friendly and can speak English as well. This was a very nice experience and I will definitely stay here again if I have the chance to return to Kochi."

"Noisy Japanese male groups didn't close the door and keep talking loud even in midnight. Closing doors without holding the handles was really loud and disturbing at 12am. I understand it was a nice time to hang out with friends but should shut the doors to let other customers rest properly. Do not choose the option with room chosen by the hotel."

"A small family-run guest house in Kami, which is a small town with few shops and restaurants. The onsen was located just off the main road thus considered convenient (for self drive). All guest rooms (with Japanese tatami) were located upstairs with narrow corridor, thus we couldn't bring luggage up but pack some overnight stuff instead. "Fabulous wooden hut accomodation in the woods by a stream, but although there was a cafe and menu, they wanted 5 days pre-booking for food. This wasnt mentioned anywhere in the booking info - lucky we had a car to travel the half hour journey to nearest town. Others who had booked food had good ameneties for bar-b-que etc but we felt a bit hard done by."
