Family run and in a fairly remote location so we saw enormous, 5 ft. orange iguanas along the river (take binoculars to see them better) and heard the howlers in the area. However, the place could use some work - cleaning, painting, general maintenance, etc. And it is not a 'resort' by most American's description. "This is a beautiful hidden treasure of a spot. The staff was fabulous and would definitely recommend BEVL to any bird watcher (new or experienced). Lenny was a delightful guide full of information and a ton of patience. This place even has shoe rags for anyone that ends up with yucky hiking boots"
