"Lamartine Chelsea is in a great location, close to Times Square, Broadway, The High Line, and so on. It's a great price for the city. Nothing fancy but it's clean and comfortable. We don't spend much time in our room when we go to New York so it was just a place to sleep and clean up. Fantastic spot if that is what you are looking for. Check in was smooth and they let us leave our bags there after check out until we were ready to head home. "

"For the price i would recommend Leo House. While an older building, it was clean and the location was great. Close to the Subway and High Line. Also not that far to walk to places such as the MSG and Times Square. The only downside was at the time of my stay there was no WiFi on my floor. "

"I needed a room for a couple nights to sleep and shower in. This was the perfect hotel to crash at. GREAT location in Chelsea between the FIT area, Penn Station area, and Little Korea. Hotel room had a king bed and not much room for much more other than a little desk and a cramped hanging closet. But that's all I really needed. PLUS, my room had THE BEST showerhead ever!!!! Was the perfect short stint I've ever had in NYC. Highly recommend. "

"Our room had a queen bed and we were three, so they gave us a foldable bed for one with no problem. We did the check in early with no issues. The manager is really nice. There are two bathrooms in each floor and were very clean. There was a very cute cat that came into our room frequently. They have free umbrellas for 24 hours. We lost one of our keys and the manager gave us another one with no fee. Very good location and good price. Everything was easygoing."
