If you’re fortunate enough to get a room with a private onsen, you can enjoy all manner of luxury beyond the available public onsen facilities. "Nice hotel and staff hospitality was great. Our 2 days stay include dinning and was given difference menu for the half-board. Hotel include onsen for public. If you need private room, you need to book a higher end room. Only setback is the train station is about 15min walk away. Not great if you have too many luggage to carry. "

"Everything about Nihon No Ashitaba was so incredibly beautiful, serene, and thoughtful. They offer a free shuttle everyday to Yufuin station where you can walk, shop, eat, and enjoy Yufuin. We were greeted promptly after riding the Yufuin No Mori from Hakata Station.They have multiple private onsens and a large open air hot spring you can reserve a time everyday if you wanted.
