"The property is not located where advertised. It claims to be 1 minute away from the waterside theatre and therefore not far from the train station. This was very important to me and my wife who were travelling with several heavy bags and needed to be very close to both and this is the exact reason we booked it. However, it turns out it’s around 25 minute walk away from the theatre! As a result, we had to take a couple of Ubers back and forth and thought it only fair the host covers the cost...

"Julie & Nick were so warm and welcoming from their initial contact, their hospitality is first class. The accommodation is kept immaculately clean and cared for. "Property is within a private road, with very limited access to visitors. There are a couple of visitors' parking spaces, but those were occupied when I arrived, so I had to park in the nearby public car park. This was free after 6pm, but I had to leave before 9am the next morning to avoid being charged for parking. Other than that, my stay was fine - room was clean and comfortable, and shared bathroom was not an issue, as I think I was the only guest that night."

"we were re-imbursed the cleaning money. The property was disgusting. Hair in beds, foot particles on range, on kitchen floor and dinning area. The condition of the property was more in tune with a hostel rather than a house for a family. The list of things that need to be fixed is to long. From patio doors that didn't close to stair banister hanging off the wall. There was only 1/4 toilet roll in the house for two toilets. We had to wash the sheets before we could sleep in the beds."
