"Having spent years staying in National chain hotels this pub was exceptional & a breath of fresh air. Friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed & clean on suite rooms. Breakfast was probably the best freshly cooked that I've ever had. 5* for me. I would definitely recommend."

"The service was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean though the power (Room 6 bed 4) did not work. The comfort could have been improved by adding privacy curtains or similar. However, it was comfortable and reasonable value overall, and I would stay again "

"I loved staying at Jacob's Ladder. The rooms are gorgeous and the owners are fabulous. You can walk all over Falmouth from this location. The pub is fun and family friendly. The food is great. My room was very quiet. I'll definitely stay here again!! "

"The hotel turned out to be comfortable overall. The rooms are spacious and cozy. However, we noticed that some pieces of furniture were already old and needed replacing. There was also a slight musty smell in the bathroom, which wasn’t very pleasant. But none of these issues significantly affected our stay."

"We have experienced a delightful stay at Halwell Lodge B&B, spending two comfortable nights in the Luxury Double Room, well appointed and perfectly presented, looking out on a lovely garden. Choices at Breakfast were very good and served in great style in a beautiful Dining Room-Conservatory with garden views. Parking is secluded and secure.
