"Best value for money hotel ive stayed in for long time. Room was clean and comfortable. The onsuite shower could do with being hotter but thats being picky. The gem is the restaurant. Busy on both evenings but staff were on the ball, attentive with food being delivered roasting hot. Both nights I had Chicken and Leek pie. Absolutely superb hence why i had it twice! A mention in dispatches for chips, best chips Ive had ever, fact. Rest of the menu looks good but the Roasts are legendary. Never...

"its a lovely hotel, fabulous view, comfortable accomodation. the lake walk is pleasant, and the walkway maintained to make it reasonably accessible but not fully pushchair / wheelchair capable. its great that its dog friendly and animals are allowed in and around the place food is very nice, all made to a very high standard. it is pricy but its very pleasant and you dont feel short changed. a good location for a special event. "

A lovely spacious room but I thought the wash basin was absurdly small. my kitchen washing up bowl is larger than the sink in the bathroom. "
