"This is not a place for outsiders. All of the other guests in the (tiny) bunks were poor Indian men on their way to be, say, a guest laborer somewhere (one man showed me his visa to Ghana). Anyway, it was awkward AF, so I powered through a couple nights and then moved next-door to the Afra hostel — still pretty much a local place, but MUCH better, and I even made some new good friends there. Actual showers, a few western toilets, a men's wing, a woman's wing, and a mixed dorm, no hangout space,...

"It was a pleasant stay. Very cozy. Only problem was sometimes the water from the bathroom is getting inside the room. Other than that it was really good. Such a nice concept of cozy single rooms. "
