"Modernised hotel with lift within the palace, close to the main square. We, like some other guests, had difficulty finding it. Excellent buffet breakfast. We liked the lifesized horse lamp in the entrance hall!"

"Lovely place in an amazing location but there were alot of basic amenities that this property failed on. Only had a small bin in the bathroom for rubbish and they did not even empty that bin when they serviced the room. I was only staying 2 nights and that was a big inconvenience. Also the bar fridge in the room has a glass door with an internal light that stays on even when it's closed so i had to unplug the fridge at night as it lit up the whole room, which made keeping drinks cool...

"We left for an excursion early on the day of arrival. I contacted the property and a gentleman was nice enough to come in specifically to meet me to store our bags. Location can't be beaten."

"The property was beautiful. The only downside was carrying luggage up 4 flights of stairs, but they did explain that because the building is 1/2 owned by the government they were unable to a lift in. Other than that, it was a fantastic place to stay. "

She was also amazing at letting us know about the area. Bruno escorted us at 5 am with our luggage to an Uber outside the old town walls and waited with us until it arrived. Service like this is what makes you want to come back. Tremendous."
